Insurance & care policy

Insurance and Liability
Pet owners are responsible for ensuring their pets have appropriate insurance coverage. Happy Mutts takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pets in our care. However, we cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses or losses beyond our reasonable control.
Illness or Injury
Your pet’s health and wellbeing are our priority. If your pet becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your nominated emergency contact as soon as possible.
If veterinary attention is considered necessary, we will contact your preferred veterinarian in the first instance. If they are unavailable or immediate treatment is required, we may arrange care with another suitable veterinary clinic.
By booking our services, you authorise Happy Mutts to seek veterinary assistance when reasonably necessary. You agree to cover all associated costs, including veterinary treatment, medication and transportation.
We will make every reasonable effort to keep you informed of your pet’s condition and any treatment provided.
